The U.S. parks continue to have some transportation issues. Walt Disney World has a significant problem, Disneyland has a small problem, solutions are for both are listed below.

Walt Disney World is a different story. The sheer number of miles, acreage, and roads make transportation a real challenge. Walking across the property is not an option at WDW and with spread out parks and hotels, a top notch transportation system is necessary.
The current transportation system is convoluted. They include
1. Roads and bus service- You can drive or you can take buses from every hotel to parks. However, these buses can take quite a while and make many stops. You lose a lot of time trying to get from a hotel to a distant theme park if you have to stop at four other hotels first, having already waited an hour for the bus. They are more hassle than they are worth.

3. Boat- This is for the EPCOT resorts and can get you from Boardwalk, Yacht/Beach Club, or Swan/Dolphin to EPCOT's back door or to DHS. Again...this is a limited option.
4. Monorail- The most popular (and noteworthy) transportation system in the resort is the monorail, however this only covers a few resorts around the Magic Kingdom and the EPCOT front entrance. Why does the monorail not cover DHS or AK? Why are the resorts across it not covered? According to a Disney Backstage Magic tour guide, the reason is that monorail parts are too expensive. However, there are multiple german monorail manufacturers now and this could be a much more popular idea to simply pay up to $1.5 Billion to make a perimeter monorail loop as well as park access. This is the best option because people want to take the monorail, it is an attraction!
