Parks and Resorts- Disneyland Resort Roundup

What is the future of the Disneyland Resort? This resort is the original...and yet it's not quite where WDW or the others are. It pretends to be a multi day resort, but due to its constricted land locked geography, options are limited. Disneyland is the most popular regional theme park in the world, but it is really not a domestic or even international destination. What needs to happen to the entire resort?

I believe the changes are all rationally grounded and fairly easy to construct. Each aspect of the resort needs to be modified as well.

Disneyland Park- The change here is already in the works for the Star Wars experience. This will be a huge boom, but following that in 2019 I believe the company must firmly address the IP in Tomorrowland and redevelop some attractions (both here and at Magic Kingdom) to reflect a truer concept of Tomorrowland.

California Adventure- This park needs the most work still and needs Pixar based attractions, new restaurants, etc. See Disney's California Adventure Roundup post).

Hotels-
1. Disneyland Hotel- This hotel is still in good shape after its remodel, so I wouldn't really touch it.
2. Grand Californian Hotel- Monorail stop needed
3. Paradise Pier Hotel- Needs whole new redesign or retheme. Update PCH grill to better food and experience. Make it more "Disney" feel.
4. New hotel is already on its way

Monorail- Expand the loop slightly, Make Grand Californian and DCA stops, as well as third gate.

Third gate- With the other property that Disney has purchased (and should continue to purchase), Disney should open up a third park. This park, if done correctly, will give the Disneyland Resort a unique competitive advantage if it is based on Marvel characters (due to the Master agreement). Marvel deserves more than just a few acres of land inside DCA, I believe it genuinely needs its own park.

Total time to develop everything should be ten years or less.
Thoughts?
